Enrollment 101: MyCSU

      
    After your acceptance to Charleston Southern, you have access to MyCSU, which is the portal for current CSU students. In MyCSU, you can view your classes, access Financial Aid Live, sign your FERPA waiver, find residence life information, and more! 
     
    Accessing MyCSU for the first time:

    If you have not yet accessed BucMail (your CSU email account), 
    first use the instructions found here. You will need to access your BucMail to log into MyCSU.
    1. Log into your Application Status Page and find your CSU ID # and your ​​​​​​BucMail address.
    2. Go to my.csuniv.edu to access the MyCSU homepage.
    3. Use your CSU ID # as your Username in the top-left corner, and then click "I forgot my password" to the right.
    4. Instructions for accessing your MyCSU password will be sent to your CSU email address.

    Using the MyCSU tabs:

    Home -
     from here, you can access helpful links to other systems such as Blackboard and BucMail, view the academic calendar, create a parent login for your Student Account, access free resources like Counseling and the Career Center, and more!
    Academics - this tab contains the Course Schedule for upcoming semesters and is where courses can be added/dropped from your schedule (current students only)
    Financial Aid - use this tab to access Financial Aid Live!
    ResLife -
     this tab is where you will find your roommate information if living on campus, and where you will select your room and roommate after your first year. Please note: the Resident Hall / Housing Application for new students is located in the Application Status Page, not in MyCSU.
    New Student - 
    this tab only appears until you are registered for your first semester at CSU. From here, you can complete your FERPA waiver or view your unofficial transcript (displaying any transfer credit you have already received).
    Student this tab appears within 5 business days of getting registered for your first semester. From here, you can complete your FERPA waiver, view your unofficial transcript, view advisor information, keep track of your Chapel credits, and view any holds on your account.
    On the left, there are additional menu items under this tab:
    • Course and Grades: here, you can access your final and mid-term grade reports, access your unofficial transcript, withdraw from a course already in progress, use the GPA projection tool, and explore other majors here at CSU.
    • Financial: This is where you can access your Student Account information; click on the "Payments, eBills, eRefund, MyPaymentPlan" link
    • Forms: From here, you can withdraw completely from the University, change your Major or Minor, and apply for graduation. Please note: these forms are intended for access by current CSU students - those who have started their first semester - only.
