*Statistics does not satisfy math prerequisite for the BSN program. All math and science prerequisites must be completed within 5 years at time of application. Pathophysiology course must be completed within 3 years at time of application. Must have a GPA of 2.9 or higher in all prerequisite courses. Must achieve a grade of “C” or higher in all prerequisite courses. For transfer students only - Official transcripts from all previous schools must be on file with the CSU Registrar by 5:00 p.m. on the Tuesday following Charleston Southern University’s finals week.I confirm that I have read and understood all information above.

Note this is a pre-licensure program only, students who have previously taken the NCLEX-RN are not eligible for enrollment.
If accepted into the College of Nursing, students will receive (via email) a compliance checklist. Evidence of the following checklist items must be uploaded into CastleBranch by the due date prior to beginning 200 level nursing courses:
Failure to fully complete and upload these items by the due date will result in the student being unenrolled from their 200 level nursing courses. An alternate applicant will be notified and enrolled.
Fact sheets describing the documentation needed to be eligible for licensure as a registered nurse are available upon request in the College of Nursing. If there are questions as to the anticipated need to report a specific violation/conviction, disciplinary action, treatment for chemical dependency, or a psychiatric or mental health condition, students may call the South Carolina Board of Nursing at (803) 896-4550.
