Enrollment 101: Your CSU Bill

You have probably seen your financial aid offer in Financial Aid Live (MyCSU > Financial Aid tab > FA Live) and - if you are an incoming student - have been able to discuss your package with your Enrollment Counselor.

Your preliminary bill for the upcoming semester will be available soon:
    • Your bill will only reflect charges for this upcoming semester; your balance for next semester is not due at this time.
    • If documents are missing or not yet processed from your financial aid file, your bill will not be accurate. Your list of required items can be viewed 24/7 by accessing the documents tab in Financial Aid Live.
    • The bill is a snapshot in time and will not show up-to-date information. For live details regarding your account, view Your Account History (MyCSU > Student Accounts tab).
    • RESIDENTS: your housing & food charges are based on your assignment in either the traditional suites or in Mead Hall.
    • COMMUTERS: As a commuter, you will see a Dining Dollars charge.
    • We are here for you and are happy to help with any uncertainty regarding your balance. Questions? Please let us know! New CSU students should direct questions to admissions@csuniv.edu, and returning students should contact sfs@csuniv.edu.

Did you know that CSU offers two different ways for students to pay their bill?
    1. Submit payment online by the first day of classes. This is the option that the Student Financial Services Office prefers! The Cashier's Window can be located on the second floor of the Student Center, or payment can also be received online through MyCSU.
    1. Enroll in the Monthly Payment Plan: MyCSU > Student Accounts tab > Payments, eBills, etc. link. This link will take you to the Student Accounts portal, where you can enroll in one of the semester-specific payment plans. CSU offers a 5-month payment plan and a 4-month payment plan. Please note: there is a $45/semester fee to use the MPP. As long as your payment plan is in good standing, this allows you to remain in classes and then register for next semester’s classes.
